Northwest Medical Training Group Offers Courses within 4 General Categories:


+ ACLS

  • ACLS Card Replacement: You have lost your current ACLS card that was directly issued by NW Medical Training Group and need a replacement.
  • ACLS Heartcode Online Part 1 & Skills Session: The AHA online ACLS-Heartcode Part 1 (to be completed within 90 days) and Parts 2 & 3 Skills Check-off which is designed to satisfy the Skills testing portion of the online courses. The Skill check typically lasts 1 hour. Once you have completed the Online Part 1, you may schedule a Skill check-off with us.
  • ACLS New Provider: ACLS New Provider class consists of 8 hours of classroom lecture, simulated cases, and a written test consisting of multiple-choice questions. Short breaks are included. A 30-minute lunch on your own is in addition to the 8-hours of class. This meets or exceeds the minimum standard for AHA New Provider Course. This is not a basic CPR Class. BLS Add-On Available.
  • ACLS Renewal/Update: ACLS Renewal class is approximately 5 hours and consists of classroom updates, simulated cases, and a written test consisting of multiple-choice questions. Short breaks are included. This meets or exceeds minimum standard for AHA Renewal Course. This is not a basic CPR Class. BLS Add-On Available.
  • ACLS Skills Check-Off:If you already have ACLS Part 1 completed and are only looking for the skills check-off (otherwise select ACLS Heartcode Online Part 1 & Skills Session). Check-offs are designed to satisfy the Skills testing portion of the online courses. They typically last 1 hour. You must bring your online completion certificate.

+ BLS

  • BLS Add-On to ACLS: An add-on that gives you a BLS healthcare Provider card in addition to a primary ACLS or PALS card. It does require that you complete the BLS part 1 online portion. The BLS check-off will be included the same day you take the primary ACLS or PALS course. Do not select this course if you are not scheduled for an ACLS or PALS course with us.

+ PALS

  • PALS Card Replacement: You have lost your current PALS card that was directly issued by NW Medical Training Group and need a replacement.
  • PALS New Provider: PALS New Provider class consists of 8 hours of classroom lecture, simulated cases, and a written test consisting of multiple-choice questions. Short breaks are included.
